Waar de mannen in pak zich streng houden aan de regels zien een aantal vechters een promotie vs. promotie evenement wel zitten.

Zo ook Bellator MMA superster Michael Page:
“Friendly competition is good, and if the UFC and Bellator could somehow work together, and do joint bouts it would be incredible, If the UFC and Bellator could just shake hands and work together on a few things then it would be better for the fighters, better for the fans and better for everyone”

Helaas is de kans dat dit gaat gebeuren vrijwel nihil. Al zou een The Ultimate Fighter team UFC vs. Team Bellator wel kijkcijfers trekken.
