Het gevecht tussen Mickey Gall en Miquel Baeza gaat niet door. Gall heeft de partij moeten afzeggen dankzij een opgelopen blessure. De twee zouden elkaar op 19 september 2020 ontmoeten op het canvas van het UFC APEX. Andere vechters die nog wel in actie komen zijn onder andere Colby Covington, Donald Cerrone en Khamzat Chimaev. Het is onbekend of de promotie gaat zoeken naar een geschikte vervanger.

I want to let everyone know I will no longer be fighting on the 19th. I suffered an injury while training my ass off for this fight. I tried pushing through but had to make the tough decision after mri results. Apologies to my opponent Miguel Baeza I promise to honor the agreement at a later date. Big thanks to my team @ljreboli @david_adiv @therealdorianprice @defrancosgym @gracienjacademy @acw_coach @badger_gracienj @ogbillydee @jamiegall22 and many more we put in a lot of hard work this camp I’m very grateful for you all and can’t wait to do it again. I’m very optimistic, taking it in stride. This is part of the game. I’m meeting w top specialists to make sure we handle the injury properly and return to the octagon ASAP. Hopefully before the end of the year. Much love as always
